Welcome to Mrs. Pechacek's 1st grade class. We are looking forward to learning a lot of amazing things this year. The students will learn weekly spelling words and weekly vocabulary words. The students will also receive a weekly guided reading book to work on fluency, comprehension, and sight word identification. In Math students will receive a solid foundation in beginning addition, substraction, geometry, statistics, and probability.
The students will learn how to work together in small groups independently. They will also learn how to complete assignments independently. The small groups will also work on completing projects together.
The students will learn how to socialize and problem solve as part of our PBIS and Character Counts programs.
